This second home for my Connecticut clients is tucked away in the woods situated directly on a lake in New Hampshire. It is truly a departure for them as it contrasts the formality of their home in CT, as well as provides a relaxing haven for weekends and holidays. The builder was sure to design the house so that every room has a lake view. Most rooms get the setting sun, as does the deck which spans the entire back of the house.

The rustic style of this house adds to its earthy surroundings. I chose to further develop the interior in this Adirondack Style. Many furniture pieces were handcrafted by artists whose work is specifically rustic in nature. I carefully blended this with classic, comfortable and practical materials for this large family and their guests.
