This dining room space is designed to comfortably seat four at a round table for intimate dining. There are leaves which can be used to expand the table to accommodate a party of eight. The challenge here was to provide a flexible lighting arrangement for both seating options. This high-tech track lighting was the perfect solution. The adjustable heads in varying styles adapt to highlight the table when extended and placed on the diagonal, or when it is closed as shown. The maple table with black accents mimics the maple and black granite built-ins that surround the room.
